Summertime on Cape Cod is a most special time. And at one of the most spectacular beaches on the East Coast — with a bike course that passes the majestic Nobska Point Lighthouse and a paved run course beachside — the Falmouth Triathlon attracts visitors from across the nation and the world. Sea to Summit Triathlon

The Sea to Summit is not your traditional triathlon. This is an amazing day which combines the core elements of swim-bike-run with the challenges of an adventure race. With assistance from your porter, you’ll swim 1.5 miles, ride 92+ miles, then run and climb your way up the tallest mountain in the Northeastern U.S. Serious athletes only need apply.

September is one of the best months to visit Cape Cod, and the Hyannis 2 Triathlon is a perfect reason to do just that! It’s the second race of the year at this scenic location (the first is in June), with both Sprint and Olympic distances. This is a race that can be completed by fitness enthusiasts who have trained for the distances. With views of the Atlantic Ocean on the bike and run, the Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon has an atmosphere which matches the nature of this quaint village of artists and fishermen. Race as an individual, or form a relay team. Course isclosed to traffic!

Gut Check Adventure Triathlon

It feels like a triathlon…but the Gut Check is actually a point-to-point adventure within a 2000-acre state park. Each year the course is different — and no one knows exactly what it will be until shortly before the gun! The Gut Check combines running, cycling, orienteering and water crossing (two race categories:swim or surfboard/paddleboard). Expect a finishing time of 90 minutes to 2 hours.Whether you compete solo or with a group of your friends (2, 3 or 4 persons), the objective is to use your wits and fitness to scramble to the finish.
