At 39 years, this is one of the longest-running triathlons in the world. Named as one of the 20 best triathlons in the nation by Men’s Health magazine, Hyannis competitors can choose from either a Sprint or Olympic distance option. Swim along the coast of one of the most spectacular beaches in the Northeast; bike
through quaint coastal villages; and run on quiet, tree-lined streets. Aquabike and relay team categories available.

Summertime on Cape Cod is a most special time. And at one of the most spectacular beaches on the East Coast — with a bike course that passes the majestic Nobska Point Lighthouse and a paved run course beachside — the Falmouth Triathlon attracts visitors from across the nation and the world. The
race has been voted one of the top five triathlons for beginners by the Triathletes Choice Awards, so “casual” athletes and newcomers know they are very welcome. Aquabike category available.

Sea to Summit Triathlon

The Sea to Summit is not your traditional triathlon. This is an amazing day which combines the core elements of swim-bike-run with the challenges of an adventure race. With assistance from your porter, you’ll swim 1.5 miles, ride 92+ miles, then run and climb your way up the tallest mountain in the Northeastern U.S. Serious athletes only need apply.

Hyannis 2 Triathlon

September is one of the best months to visit Cape Cod, and the Hyannis 2 Triathlon is a perfect reason to do just that! It’s the second race of the year at this scenic location (the first is in June), with both Sprint and Olympic distances. This is a race that can be completed by fitness enthusiasts who have trained for the distances. The atmosphere is energetic; the views are spectacular; and your satisfaction of your accomplishment will last for a long time! Aquabike categories available.

Gut Check Adventure Triathlon

It feels like a triathlon…but the Gut Check is actually a point-to-point adventure within a 2000-acre state park. Each year the course is different — and no one knows exactly what it will be until shortly before the gun! The Gut Check combines running, cycling, orienteering and water crossing (two race categories:
swim or surfboard/paddleboard). Expect a finishing time of 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Whether you compete solo or with a group of your friends (2, 3 or 4 persons), the objective is to use your wits and fitness to scramble to the finish.
